This is usually caused by a weak or unstable internet connection or a problem on the station's streaming server. If only one station is affected, it is most likely an issue with that broadcaster.
Some stations apply regional restrictions. If a station blocks playback in your region, the app cannot bypass that limitation.
Incoming calls temporarily interrupt audio playback. After the call ends, the app resumes playback.

Yes. World Radios supports selected live TV channels. We are continuously adding more channels from around the world. The app currently plays the audio stream of TV channels only. Video playback is not supported at this time. Availability may vary by region and broadcaster.
The app supports a wide range of genres including rock, pop, reggae, oldies, jazz, classical, dance, electronic, and many others. Available genres depend on the stations you select.
You can browse stations by country or genre, search by name, or explore popular and recently added stations. New stations are added daily.
Yes. The app includes a local discovery feature that helps you find stations based on your location or country.
Yes. Stations can be sorted by popularity today, this week, this month, or all time. You can also sort by country, genre, name, or most recent additions.
Yes. If you are a Premium user, scroll to the bottom of the Home screen, open the My Radios section, and add your custom station. Custom stations are saved locally on your device.
You can suggest new radio stations from Settings by tapping Suggest station. You can also visit worldradios.app and click Submit in the top menu.
Stations may be removed if the stream goes offline permanently, the broadcaster changes the stream URL, or removal is requested by the broadcaster.
If you contacted us about a broken station and we fixed it, but it still does not play, you are likely playing it from your Favorites list. Favorites may store the old streaming URL. Remove the station from Favorites and add it again to refresh the stream.
Yes. You can add stations to your Favorites list and reorder them manually by dragging them to match your listening preferences.
Yes. You can sort your Favorites list by newest or oldest using the toggle in Settings.
Yes. If you switch to sorting by newest or oldest, any custom manual order you previously set will be reset.
Yes. Use Settings > Import / Export favorites to export your favorite stations to a backup file or import them on another device.
Yes. If you are a Premium user, you can record live radio streams and listen to them later. Recordings are saved locally on your device. To start a recording, tap the Record button and choose Record now.
Your recordings can be found on the Settings screen. From there, you can play, save, rename, or delete recordings.
World Radios saves recordings in WAV format. Some default audio players may not play WAV correctly. Use a compatible player such as VLC or UPlayer.
Tap the Record button and choose Schedule a recording. The app will automatically record the station at the chosen date and time.
Once completed, scheduled recordings are saved in your device's Downloads folder.
To edit or delete scheduled recordings, go to Settings > Scheduled Recordings. From there, you can manage all upcoming recordings.
No. The app records in WAV format to preserve the original stream's audio quality.
WAV files are uncompressed, which keeps high fidelity but results in larger file sizes than MP3.
Yes. You can share recordings directly from the app.
Yes. You can trim your recordings to keep only the part you want and share it easily. Trimmed recordings are automatically saved with the prefix trimmed- so you can quickly identify them.
Yes. World Radios features thousands of popular podcasts, including inspirational talks, education, interviews, entertainment, and true crime. You need to be a Premium user to access Podcasts.
Yes. You can download podcast episodes to your device and listen to them later without an internet connection. This is useful when traveling or when you want to save mobile data.
Downloaded podcast episodes are saved in your device's Downloads folder. You can also access them using your phone's file manager or compatible audio apps.
Yes. You can set alarms to wake up to your favorite radio station.
The Sleep Timer lets you automatically stop playback after a selected amount of time, making it ideal for bedtime listening.
When Autoplay is enabled, the app automatically resumes your last played station when you open World Radios.

Yes. Lyrics are available for most songs directly in the player, allowing you to follow along in real time. Availability depends on the track and data providers, so some songs may not have lyrics.
Yes. If a station fails to play, the app automatically reports the issue to help us investigate and fix it faster.
Yes. You can pin your favorite stations to your device's home screen for instant access and playback.
Yes. You can choose between Blue Sky, Light, Dark, and AMOLED Dark.
World Radios includes an AMOLED Dark theme, designed for a deeper black look on compatible screens. It can help reduce eye strain in low light and may improve battery usage on AMOLED displays.
Go to Settings > Theme. The app will immediately switch to the new theme you select.
World Radios supports more than 30 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, and more.

Yes. In Settings, you can choose to open Favorites on launch, or select a specific country or genre to open when the app starts.
Yes. Use Settings > Hide countries from Categories or Hide genres from Categories. This only affects the Categories screen and does not remove stations from search, Favorites, or other app areas.
Yes. If you enable Disable system audio focus, World Radios can keep playing even when other apps play sound. Use this carefully because audio from multiple apps may overlap.

The widget lets you play and control radio stations directly from your home screen without opening the app. It gives quick access to Popular, Favorites, History, and Nearby stations.
Long-press on your home screen, tap Widgets, find World Radios, then drag the widget onto your screen.
The widget is a premium feature. Upgrade to unlock instant playback and full access from your home screen.
Favorites will appear once you add stations, and History will show stations you have listened to recently.
